Safe by design

The ground rules

  • Crisis calls go to a person

Anyone at risk is put through or given emergency numbers. No exceptions.

  • Agents never approve

No payments, service decisions or system changes without a named approver.

  • Tight access

Each agent has its own account and sees only what its job needs.

  • Data in Australia

Agents run in your own tenancy, in Australian data centre regions where the platform offers them.

  • Full log

Every call, draft and handoff recorded for your board.

  • Policy first

Only 14% of not-for-profits have an AI policy. We'll help you write yours.

Governance

Will this stand up to your board and funders?

Yes. That's the point.

We document every control. You get the records when a funder or auditor asks. Built around ACNC Governance Standards, the Privacy Act and child safe duties.

  • Baseline first, results measured
  • Small steps, staged spend
  • Data kept in Australian data centres where the platform offers them
  • Plain English board reports

FAQ FAQ

Not-for-profits and NGOs: frequently asked questions

How does Sharktech help not-for-profits and NGOs?

Sharktech Global is an Australian AI and software company. We run your IT, protect donor and client data, speed up funder reporting and clear repetitive admin with AI agents. One local team. A person on your team approves every decision.

Do you work with registered charities and faith-based organisations?

Yes. Registered charities, faith-based charities, foundations, incorporated associations and community organisations. We suit groups with 10 to 200 staff who hold sensitive data and report to funders.

We're a small charity with a tight budget. Is this for us?

Start with the free 30-minute call. If you're small and volunteer-run, we'll tell you what to do yourself. If you hold sensitive data, a Security Health Check is usually the best first step.

How much does IT support cost for a not-for-profit?

A Security Health Check is A$1,950 fixed. Managed IT starts from A$3,500 a month. AI and automation assessments start from A$3,000. Every project has a fixed scope and price, agreed before we start. The first call is free.

Can you help us pay for IT and AI?

Yes. We'll help you write the IT cost into your next grant budget. We'll also check you're getting charity software discounts, such as Microsoft's not-for-profit licensing and Connecting Up. And our first step, a Security Health Check, is A$1,950 fixed.

Where is our data stored?

Wherever we can, in Australian data centres. Agents and dashboards run in your own Microsoft 365 or cloud tenancy, using Australian regions where the platform offers them. We tell you where each system stores data before it goes live.

Is our not-for-profit covered by the Privacy Act?

It depends. Many organisations with turnover of A$3 million or less are exempt. Health service providers are covered whatever their size. Check with your legal adviser. Either way, donors and clients expect their data to be safe.

What is agentic AI, in plain English?

Software that does one job, step by step, inside rules you set. It can sort a referral, draft a grant report or send a roster reminder. It can't decide who gets a service or move money. A person approves.

Can an AI agent answer our phones?

Yes. A call answering agent can take overflow and after-hours calls, answer common questions, book callbacks and take messages. Anyone in crisis is put through to a person or given emergency numbers straight away.

Is it safe to use AI with client case notes?

Only with the right controls. Each agent gets limited access. Client data stays in your systems. Every action is logged. A person signs off. We'll also help you write an AI policy.

Can you build dashboards for grant reporting?

Yes. We connect your client, program and finance data in Business Intelligence. You get one view per funder, plus board and impact reports that update themselves.

Do we have to replace our current systems?

No. We start with what you already use, like Microsoft 365, your client system, your donation platform and your accounting software. Then we connect the gaps.

Do you supply computers or fix Wi-Fi?

No. We don't supply, install or repair hardware. Computers, phones, Wi-Fi and the NBN stay with your suppliers. We manage the accounts, software, security, data and automation.

We've got space for you. In our hearts and in our services.
